You don't need to know how to pose. You don't need to practice your smile. And you definitely don't need to show up knowing what to do with your hands. That's my job.
I'll guide you through the entire session while we talk, laugh, move around, and probably get a little distracted along the way. My goal is for you to forget you're at a photoshoot and just enjoy yourself.

When should I book my senior session?
I recommend reaching out as early as possible, especially if you have a certain season or date in mind. Fall dates tend to fill quickly! Booking early also gives us plenty of time to plan your locations, outfits, and all the details that will make your session feel like you.
What should I wear?
Wear something that makes you feel confident and comfortable! Once you're booked, I'll help you plan your outfits so they photograph beautifully and work well with your locations. Depending on your collection, you'll also have multiple outfits so we can create completely different looks throughout your session.
Can I bring multiple outfits?
Absolutely! The number of outfits depends on the collection you choose. We'll plan them ahead of time so you have a great mix—from casual and relaxed to dressed up, bold, or completely you.
Do you help with posing?
Absolutely. You don't need to know what to do in front of the camera—that's my job! I'll guide you through posing, movement, and expressions throughout your session so you never have to wonder what to do with your hands. My goal is for everything to feel natural, relaxed, and like you're hanging out with a friend.
Can we include my sport or hobby?
Please do! Sports, music, art, books, cars, animals—whatever you're into, I want to hear about it. Your senior photos should tell your story, and the things you love are a big part of that.
Can I bring my pet?
Yes! Pets are part of your story, too. Just let me know ahead of time so we can choose a pet-friendly location and plan the session accordingly. Bringing someone along to help with your pet when they aren't being photographed is always a good idea.
WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY FINISHED GALLERY?
Your finished images will be professionally edited and delivered through a private online gallery in 4-5 weeks.
How will I receive my images?
Your professionally edited images will be delivered through a private online gallery, where you can easily view, download, and share your favorites with family and friends. Every image in your final gallery is professionally edited in my signature style, including color, lighting, skin tones, and temporary blemishes—while still making sure you look like you.
Can I order prints or products?
Absolutely! Professional-quality prints and products are available directly through Honey + Ginger Photography. I’ll take care of the ordering through my professional print lab to ensure your photographs are printed with beautiful color, detail, and quality. If you’d like prints or products from your session, just let me know and I’ll help you choose the perfect options for your favorite images.
What happens if it rains?
Ohio weather likes to keep us guessing! I'll keep an eye on the forecast as your session gets closer. If the weather isn't going to work for the type of session we've planned, we'll talk through our options and reschedule if necessary.
What if I don't know where I want my pictures taken?
That's completely fine—you don't have to! We'll talk about the look you want and what feels most like you, and I'll help you choose locations that fit your personality, outfits, and overall vision. Urban, rustic, natural, colorful, dramatic—we'll find the right fit.
How do we reserve a date?
Once you've chosen the collection that's right for you, a signed contract and $200 non-refundable retainer are required to officially reserve your date. Your retainer is applied toward the total cost of your collection. Once you're booked, we'll start planning your outfits, locations, interests, and all the details that will make your session completely your own.
